What We Are

The pressure of functioning perfect in a life where everything including yourself seems to fall apart is especially for young people a significant struggle.

Minding-minds has the goal to provide a safe space for you, regardless whether you are affected or want to help others.

This website provides knowledge and personal experiences to raise awareness and help others to feel understood.

You can educate yourself about mental health and disorders, learn how to cope with mental illness, support affected people in your environment, share your own experiences and stories regarding mental illnesses and read about recovery stories.

Hey, I’m a teenage girl, just growing up and learning how to manage stuff in the “real” world. My emotions are messed up and I say things that I’m regret immediately after. I laugh loud and love hard, try my best in school and love buying books although I already have dozens of unfinished ones on my shelf.

But, there is also another side to me. The one who worries about how others see me all the time. The version of me who practices saying her name in class or reading out loud. The one who stays up at night, wondering how everyone seems so perfect, without any worries.

I don’t want people to be so tired of themselves because nobody ever seems to understand you. Nobody ever seems to see the side of you that struggles so hard. I wish that it wouldn’t be so hard to explain, to share, to educate.

So, I thought about creating something that helps young people like you and me, independent of whether you want to learn or share. I want people to be heard, to be understood. I want to raise awareness and transparency regarding mental illnesses, providing education about psychological topics. I hope to reach people who care, who relate, who want to learn and understand others.

Feel free to come back whenever you want to.
